Isefa Ceremony | Hand of Ifa

Isefa, often called the Hand of Ifa, is a sacred ceremony through which an individual receives their own consecrated Ifa and establishes a personal relationship with Orunmila. This ceremony provides spiritual insight into your unique destiny and offers guidance for navigating your life in alignment with your path.

Isefa is available in person in Ile-Ife, Nigeria, or virtually from anywhere in the world. For virtual participants, you will be able to witness the ceremony live through video chat throughout the process. If you are unable to attend live, portions of the ceremony can also be recorded and provided to you so you can witness and understand what took place.

As part of your Isefa, you will receive your Isefa Ifa name and Isefa Odu, along with messages and guidance concerning your destiny, character, life circumstances, and spiritual path. Your Odu may also reveal taboos, cautions, and warnings intended to help you avoid obstacles and protect your wellbeing as you move forward.

Your Isefa also includes one-on-one instruction on caring for and maintaining your Ifa at home. You will be personally taught the proper routine for caring for your sacred Ifa, so you leave the ceremony with an understanding of your responsibilities as its caretaker.

Once your Ikin Ifa has been fully consecrated, the recipient is responsible for all shipping costs associated with having their Ikin Ifa delivered by mail. Shipping arrangements and costs will be discussed once the consecration process is complete.
